Our Story
Live Aid Liverpool is an amazing bi-annual fundraising event featuring many local bands and artists, covering many genres of music that are very popular in the city. All of the artists and bands perform for free in aid of the nominated charities. The event in 2025 is in aid of Zoe’s Place, Shelter Merseyside and Gift of Sight.
Over 150 artists have now performed at the event, at Grand Central Hall in 2021, and in 2023 at the Adelphi Hotel in the heart of Liverpool, attended by more than 500 people which included His Majesty The King’s representative, The Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside, and the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
The next Live Aid Liverpool event will take place at The Adelphi Hotel on Sunday 13th July 2025, exactly 40 years to the day when the original Live Aid was held at Wembley Stadium back in 1985. Was it really that long ago!!
The event is also hosted by some of the presenters of Liverpool Live Radio, including the legendary Billy Butler
We look forward to seeing you all again.

Where it began
Band Aid Liverpool - Do They Know Its Christmas
Band Aid Liverpool came from a dream and has now become reality. 70 Artists from around Merseyside came together to make a cover of "Do They Know its Christmas?" in aid of Shelter Charity to help the homeless. All proceeds from the single went to Shelter.
Sir Bob Geldof approved our version on the Band Aid song
